Quite a few cycling names like Veloflex, Deda, Michelin etc brand their products (tubulars,clinchers,stems) with the term "servizio corsa" or "servizio corse" which in English translates to "Service Course" . Whats the whole deal with this word?

Maybe they just put it on there to sound Euro. In the case of Michelin, I guess they really are Euro.
