0 Ferretti?

Shown here is a Compagnolo Record-C Chainring with the word "Ferretti"pantographed in it, with the colors of the Italian flag on both sides. The owner of the chainring is as confused as all of us, what or who is Ferretti? No pro cycling product is branded Ferretti, but the good question goes , is it named after Fassa Bartolo's Giancarlo Ferretti, the team's last director. ??


Who is Giancarlo? Here are two top notch videos from Milan San Remo '05. 3 minutes into video of part 2, the emotions are tense and then Ferretti jumps in the team car as Petacchi edges past his rivals in the bunch sprint. Can't make out what he's saying, "avinjo.avinjo!" ?? I need a pair of headphones!
