The road race incorporated some very steep climbs, including one that ended at a small airport on a plateau. The front rider who emerged untouched almost makes for a James Bond character. Whats remarkable also is that it seems to me as if the rider in white saved his wheels inspite of it thrashing on the ground from a height but the Mavic's weren't so lucky.
