There is a lot of artificial glamour here, but there's really nothing natural to enjoy.

Nate,

You have a point. Effect of supplementation probably won't last that much. It might be good for the podium, when you want to just flex your thigh muscles and that's all you want to do with it.

I'm quite impressed with the Tibetans natural use of NO, if the study claims are true.Ron Georgehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18394865788996482667noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13887692.post-5484125177153551732007-12-18T10:19:00.000-05:002007-12-18T10:19:00.000-05:00Taking Nitric oxide agents (nitroglycerin and IMDU...Taking Nitric oxide agents (nitroglycerin and IMDUR) will probably not work. These agents need to be metabolized to release NO. Its a massive veno (very low doses) and artio (high doses) dilator. It causes pooling of the blood in large veins resulting in decreased return to the heart, hypotension, syncope, and a pounding headache. It also has a very short half life (in minutes) and tolerance will develop in 24 hours after continuous dosing. The Nitro doses people take for angina are relative large doses which will dilate the coronary arteries to reduce ischemia. I don't see how it would work.

Nitric oxide's effects are beyond complicated

here is the actual paper
PNAS November 6, 2007 vol. 104 no. 45 pg 17593–17598Natehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05174378205222344598noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13887692.post-41041500437044840752007-12-18T00:59:00.000-05:002007-12-18T00:59:00.000-05:00wow - what a great overview photo!(the tower is ab...wow - what a great overview photo!

(the tower is about 600 metres high - I blinked twice at 10 kms as that is higher than everest) :)

All that construction! There have been recent rumors in the press that Dubai financing may be dragged a bit over-extended and dragged into the global credit crisis. Let's hope not

Cycling in Tibet, now there's a dream I like! Taking a cable car to about 13,000 feet near Mont Blanc made me physically dizzy - I could only imagine going higher and trying to mountain bike with a Tibetan.

But sounds like fun.

Safe travelsWillhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07841627220298561319noreply@blogger.com
