Won't be a problem uphill but not so good on the way down.

Part 1

Part 2Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13887692.post-63596086763253352862008-09-07T15:28:00.000-04:002008-09-07T15:28:00.000-04:00Millar is a whiner. As to the real reason why the Angliru was not included between 2003-2007, I do not know. The cars had trouble getting up it, and generally there was chaos towards the top end of the road.Ron Georgehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18394865788996482667noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13887692.post-11499196495756521382008-09-07T15:03:00.000-04:002008-09-07T15:03:00.000-04:00This looks incredibly brutal. I am surprised to see it again included as it set off an arms race with the Italians, who started including ski resort parking lots in the Giro just so they could say their hills were steeper. The Angliru is about the only hill I have heard of where some of the pros actually use a triple. Great videos!Sprocketboyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00002657522696618715noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13887692.post-59167046979555766552008-09-06T22:26:00.000-04:002008-09-06T22:26:00.000-04:00Neither do I have the time to follow every minute ...Neither do I have the time to follow every minute of every stage... but you shouldn't miss Angliru!Ron Georgehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18394865788996482667noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13887692.post-59499122911973082232008-09-06T18:20:00.000-04:002008-09-06T18:20:00.000-04:00Thanks for posting. I wish we could get TV coverage for the Vuelta here but all we get is 10 minutes of the last few kilometers of each stage every morning. Would be worth staying up to watch this battle.Grooverhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05746451980347654639noreply@blogger.com
