I do design engineering, and I know the difference between engineering and industrial design.

Italians want their stuff to not only perform, ie. Lamborghini but they also have a strong sense of showmanship, ie. Prada and Armani.

In this case its really very simple, and so obvious, I can't believe I might just be the only person on the internet outside of Pinarello who sees it. The forks are styled to look like a woman's legs! Unlike the earlier curved forks, there are clear design features that imply calves, knees, and thighs, albeit very skinny and waiflike, just like a supermodel.

So its certainly nice looking, and does have a bike-frame-as-art aspect to it, but I think that these claims of it having engineering relevance are clearly suspect, if not outright naivette.
Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13887692.post-4559839262394053222008-06-05T02:31:00.000-04:002008-06-05T02:31:00.000-04:00Hi Nice Blog . The detailed Human Anatomy study , for example, of the bronchial tree as seen through the bronchoscope is now of great importance. The introduction of laparoscopic and thoracoscopic instruments to explore and operate in the abdomen and thorax respectively has also opened new vistas as surgeons require to learn their anatomical landmarks through these approaches.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13887692.post-25719897252492722642008-02-01T20:27:00.000-05:002008-02-01T20:27:00.000-05:00Thank you all for your comments.I think we can all...Thank you all for your comments.

I think we can all agree that any perceived performance, goodness and beauty of the fork is solely rider based. Both just look like flashy Italian styling to the extreme.

The Onda kind of reminds of the the fork I had on an old Raleigh in the 80s... after I smacked that bike into a curb one night.James Thttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06558670871159677266noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13887692.post-77149385758043774162008-01-30T12:37:00.000-05:002008-01-30T12:37:00.000-05:00Although I like Pinarellos, I am a bit cool on the...Although I like Pinarellos, I am a bit cool on the Onda fork/seatstay look. I suspect it is marketing hype but even if it does not do much it is very distinctive. I recently read a German article on Pinarello and the author wrote that all Pinarellos, except the Dogma, are now made in the Far East. Alas it was not to be, for they don't make the Montello to fit me. I need a 61cm and they stop production at 57cm.Ryanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02026264504416133051noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13887692.post-90432851982787244692008-01-30T00:33:00.000-05:002008-01-30T00:33:00.000-05:00i have seen your web page its interesting and info...i have seen your web page its interesting and informative.
I really like the content you provide in the web page.
But you can do more with your web page spice up your page, don't stop providing the simple page you can provide more features like forums, polls, CMS,contact forms and many more features.
Convert your blog "yourname.blogspot.com" to www.yourname.com completely free.
free Blog services provide only simple blogs but we can provide free website for you where you can provide multiple services or features rather than only simple blog.
Become proud owner of the own site and have your presence in the cyber space.
we provide you free website+ free web hosting + list of your choice of scripts like(blog scripts,CMS scripts, forums scripts and may scripts) all the above services are absolutely free.
The list of services we provide are

1.
